Dr. Karen Hale DVM&S will be joining the team at Kennebec Vet in mid-August. Karen is originally from upstate New York, received her veterinary medicine degree from The Royal Veterinary College, Edinburgh, Scotland in 2009. She practiced in rural northern Pennsylvania for the past year before making the move to Maine. Please welcome her to Central Maine!

Kennebec Veterinary Services, Inc. is located in Oakland, Maine, adjacent to First Park. The clinic is located near Colby College, Interstate 95 and the Kennebec River, hence our name. The business was founded in 1925 by Dr. Paul Baird, whom later became Mayor of the City of Waterville. Since that time it has employed and been owned by many veterinarians, all of whom have helped establish it as one of the finest clinics in the State of Maine.
